Bhubaneswar: Two Odisha cadre IPS officers have been inducted into the ‘hard-core’ of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) by the central government.
The two IPS officers – Parul Gupta and Ashish Kumar Singh – are among the ten senior officers whose induction into the elite group has been approved by the Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet.
Both are 2010 batch IPS officers. They have held several important positions in the state and are now posted in the Intelligence Bureau.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs for induction of these IPS officers into the ‘hard-core’ of the IB.
