Bhubaneswar: Satyajit Nayak, a 2008 batch IPS officer of Odisha cadre, will soon take charge as Superintendent of Police (SP) of the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
According to a notification by the Home ministry, Nayak will remain in charge of the NIA SP for four years.
While the date of joining the new assignment is not known, he will go on central deputation soon, official sources said.
At present, Nayak is posted as SP of Special Task Force (STF) of the Odisha Crime Branch.
