Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID-19 caseload breached the 100-mark for the second consecutive day on Wednesday with 103 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The city had seen 101 cases the previous day.
These new cases are among the 118 reported from Khurda district.
According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 79 among them are local contact cases while 29 are from quarantine.
The highest of 11 cases have been reported from Tankapani Road, where an apartment was sealed on Tuesday evening.

Eight more cases have been detected at Khangadiri followed by six at Old Town and five at Patia.
The last 24 hours also saw 47 more patients getting cured of the infection.
With 250 deaths and 32053 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 611 active cases.
