Phulbani: The representative of Kandhamal MP, Manoj Sabat, has been accused of abusing and abducting BJD president of Kotagarh block, Stephen Pradhan.
A case in this regard has been registered against Sabat and 10 others. While six persons have been detained so far, Manoj and 4 others are still at large.
Police said the cases were registered after a complaint was filed by Stephen who was rescued by SDPO on Wednesday.
Kandhamal MP’s representative has, however, refuted the charges.
