Odisha Chief Justice Designates Two New Senior Advocates

Cuttack: The Orissa High Court has designated two advocates — Soura Chandra Mahapatra and Siddhartha Ray — as senior advocates with effect from December 20, 2022 (Monday).

A memo (No. XXXI-03/2019/2005, dated December 20, 2022) issued by the Registrar General of the Orissa High Court read, “In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 16 of the Advocates Act, 1961 read with Rule 7(1) of the High Court of Orissa (Designation of Senior Advocated) Rules, 2019, the Chief Justice has been pleased to designated Soura Chandra Mohapatra and Siddhartha Ray as Senior Advocates.”

Copies of the memo (No. 2097(60)/ dated 20.12. 2022) have been forwarded to the Secretary-General, Supreme Court of India, and the Registrar Generals of all High Courts in India.
