Jeypore: Odisha Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra is on a three-day trip to Koraput and Malkangiri districts.
Mahapatra landed at Jeypore airstrip where he was received by Koraput Collector Abdaal M. Akhtar, and other district level officers of Koraput and Malkangiri. Mahapatra is accompanied by Member, Board of Revenue, GR Venugopal Sharma.
The Chief Secretary is scheduled to visit Malkangiri district to survey the cut-off areas of Chitrakonda and Motu, after that in Jeypore will visit the DHH, airstrip and SNM Medical College. On the third days he will visit Narayanpatana, Bandhugaon and Pottangi to inspect the works. Later, he will also inspect the mandia procurement under Odisha Millet Mission, said Akhtar.
He is also scheduled to visit the disputed Kotia panchayat on the Andhra-Odisha border.
