Puri: Odisha Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra on Thursday evening reviewed the preparations for the Rath Yatra as well as progress of work under the Srimandir Parikrama project.
After reviewing the preparations for smooth management of the Rath Yatra in a high-level meeting with departmental officials in Puri, Mahapatra also met Sevayats and urged them to ensure timely completion of various Niti Puja and other rituals during Rath Yatra.
Later, Mahapatra also inspected the progress of work under the Puri Heritage Corridor project, speaking to engineers and workers on the ground.
