Bhadrak: A group of children repaired a damaged road connecting Bagamara village from Gelatua Adivasi Colony in Bhadrak.
The children, mostly primary school students, carried gunny bags filled with soil and gravel onto their shoulders and bicycles to level the road and fill the potholes.
The villagers complained they had to face a lot of problem in the rainy season, due to the poor condition of the road. Their repeated appeals to the district administration to repair the road fell on deaf ears, they alleged.
But now children in the village have done the needful, drawing praise from all quarters.
