Odisha Civil Services Exam: BJP Leader Seeks Age Relaxation For Candidates

Bhubaneswar: Leader of the Opposition in Odisha, Pradipta Naik on Tuesday requested the state government to relax age limit to give candidates more chances to appear in Civil Services Examination.

In a letter to the Chief Minister, Naik said as the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has conducted the Civil Services examination for three times between 2000 and 2015, the candidates who had appeared in the examination between 2011 and 2019 will not be able to get another chance due to the age limit criteria.

He requested the Chief Minister to allow one more chance to these candidates, who had appeared in the Civil Services examination in 2011, 2015, 2016 and 2017, to appear in the exam for 2020 and extend the last date of the application to March 31.
