Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was all praise for multi-Grammy Award winner, Indian-origin music composer Ricky Kej during a recent interaction as part of the 25th Odisha Knowledge Hub Lecture Series.
Kej delivered a lecture as part of the series on July 4.
“What you are doing is truly commendable. Delivering messages to kids through music is innovative and imaginative. Your speech was truly inspiring and we will support you to compose all the songs in Odia language too,” Naveen told Kej during the interaction.
Kej, two-times Grammy Award winner, music composer and environmentalist, delivered a talk on “My Earth Songs” — music for children on environment and sustainability.
The Odisha government has been organising the lecture series for promoting new and emerging ideas in different fields.
Kej praised Odisha for its beauty, spoke about his music which was interlinked with nature and climate change.
Naveen Patnaik attended the lecture virtually.
