Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday announced Rs 2 lakh ex-gratia for kin of the victim of the cooking gas cylinder explosion at Gumbharimunda village under Banapur police limits in Odisha’s Khurda district.
The CM also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and directed the authorities to ensure that they get the best available treatment.
Ten persons, including seven members of a family, were injured in the incident, which took place on Thursday.
According to sources, they were shifted to hospitals in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack for critical treatment.
