Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday announced Rs 5 crore for the construction of two buildings for Ekamra Sanskrutik Prakashani Bhajan Mandap and Lingaraj Research Centre near Lingaraj temple here.
The two proposed buildings will come up near the Lingaraj Entry Plaza and will also have a watch tower.
Notably, the BMC enforcement squad had demolished Bhajan Mandap and Lingaraj Research Centre during the eviction drive around the Lingaraj temple for the security of the shrine and the beautification of its periphery.
