Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep grief over the death of a boy in crocodile attack in Tikarpada area of Odisha’s Angul district and announced Rs six lakh ex-gratia for the family of the deceased.
Expressing deep grief over the incident, the Chief Minister has extended his sympathies to the bereaved family.
Notably, a minor boy died after being dragged into the Mahanadi river by a crocodile near Satkosia gorge in Tikarpada area of Angul district on Saturday.
The boy was attacked by a crocodile that suddenly emerged out of water when he was playing on the banks of the Mahanadi river in Tikarpada area. His body was later fished out by fire services personnel.
