Bhubaneswar: As India registered emphatic dominance in Kho Kho with both men and women teams emerging champion in the inaugural edition of the Kho Kho World Cup, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi congratulated the teams.
In a post on his official handle on X, the chief minister said, “Congratulations to the Indian women’s team on their historic victory in the first-ever #KhoKhoWorldCup. This remarkable achievement is a testament to their exceptional skill, unwavering determination, and outstanding teamwork. Wishing them continued success and many more triumphs in the future.”
The Indian men’s team defeated Nepal for another time in the Kho Kho World Cup by 54-36 points to seal the men’s World Cup after having beaten them in the tournament opener a few days ago. The Indian women’s team also defeated Nepal 78-40.
