Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to formulate a uniform standard operating procedure (SOP) across the country for the safe return of the stranded migrant workers, students and pilgrims to their respective home states.
Apart from this, the Chief Minister also demanded proper care of the migrant workers who are stranded in other states due to the nationwide lockdown.
To expedite detection of COVID patients, he requested the Prime Minister to take necessary steps to increase the number of tests.
