Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has felicitated two schoolboys from Jajpur districts for showing exemplary courage and presence of mind in saving a six-year-old boy from drowning in a pond.
SK Tasif Raja and Md Soyaib, both studying in Class VIII and residents of Fazalpur village, met the CM at Lok Seva Bhawan on Tuesday evening.
Naveen praised the boys for their bravery and presented them study materials, including a dictionary and grammar book. Jajpur MP Sarmistha Sethi and Korei MLA Ashok Bal were also present.
