Odisha CM Launches LAccMI Scheme In Nabarangpur; 44 Buses To Connect All Panchayats

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the LAccMi Bus Scheme in Nabarangpur district on Thursday. A total of 44 buses will connect all 44 panchayats with the 10 blocks in the district. The villagers will be able to travel to their block headquarters by paying a fare of just Rs 5.

Launching the scheme, the Chief Minister said that mobility in remote areas is a major problem. The state government started the Laxmi Bus Scheme after he came to know about the problem of people travelling to and from the district to the Chief Minister’s Office.

“Your village has now been included in the Laxmi Yojana transit and transport system. This will strengthen the social relations in the rural areas as well as the economy,” the CM said.

Naveen said that respecting people’s opinions is the hallmark of his government. “All our plans are implemented on the basis of public opinion. Starting from Laxmi Bus Scheme, to Mo Bank, Mo Odisha Nabin Odisha and sanction of money for mutts, temples, and other important projects – all have been done as per people’s suggestions.”

With the introduction of Laxmi Bus, everyone can go to different places for their work with ease. This will lead to social and economic development. “Maa Lakshmi will come to your house through this yojana and there will be happiness and joy in the house,” he said.

Describing communication as the engine of development, the CM said the Laxmi Bus Yojana will connect everyone with development which will transform our transit and transportation system. It will connect one village to another.

The bus will come near people’s house and their children can now go to school and college with ease. The scheme will connect farmers to their markets. Hospitalisation of patients will be facilitated. Laxmi buses will be your charioteer in various works by providing facilities in the field of transit, he said.

Stating that he has paid special attention to Nabarangpur, the Chief Minister said that now a lot of work is going on for infrastructure development in Nabarangpur. Roads, bridges, irrigation, mega pipe drinking water supply projects, Millet Mission, and many other works are going on. He assured that there will be a massive transformation in the district in the next 3 years
