Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will be flying to Mumbai on Monday on a two-day visit.
He is scheduled to attend the 2023 Sportstar Aces Awards function at the financial capital of the country from 6 onwards and will be felicitated for Odisha’s contribution to the development of sports.
The state has received global appreciation for hosting FIH Hockey Men’s World Cup twice and has been hailed for its support for Hockey. It also achieved the feat of building the world’s largest hockey stadium – the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium, with a 20,000 seating capacity in Rourkela in a record 15 months.
Prior to that, Naveen will attend the Odisha Investors Meet at 3. 30 pm and may meet some of the country’s top industrialists, including Reliance Industries CMD Mukesh Ambani.
