Odisha CM Meets PM Narendra Modi, Presents Him ‘The Tall Man Biju Patnaik’ Book

New Delhi: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

During the meeting, he presented the Book “The Tall Man Biju Patnaik” to the Prime Minister.

The Book, a pictorial biography, has been authored by Sundar Ganesan. He travelled across the globe to create this monumental work on the legendary leader Biju Patnaik, who was both a proud Odia and a global citizen.

The Prime Minister thanked the Chief Minister for his unique gesture and hoped that the book will continue to inspire our future generations based on the life and achievements of the legendary leader.

 

The Chief Minister, who arrived at the national capital on a four-day visit, will attend a meeting on the Men’s World Cup Hockey at a five-star hotel ‘The LaLit’ at 12 PM on Thursday.

President of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) Dr Narinder Dhruv Batra, former International and Olympic hockey stars of India Dillip Tirkey, Viren Wilfred Rasquinha (former Indian Men’s Hockey team captain) and Dhanraj Pillay will attend the meeting.

Besides, players of national men’s and women’s hockey team will also be present at the meeting, the sources added.

The mega sporting event being hosted in Odisha for the first time will begin on November 18 and conclude on December 16.
