Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday said families of freedom fighters of Odisha will soon receive pension under ‘Kutumba Yojana’.
Speaking at a event on August Kranti Day, which marks the anniversary of the Quit India Movement, the CM said that his government is considering this long-standing demand and will initiate steps the frame the modalities for the same.
Families of the freedom fighter will soon be identified as a step towards implementing the scheme, he added.
