Bhubaneswar: Amid reports about potato-laden truck arriving in Odisha through ‘illegal route’ and price rise pinch, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday met his Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee in New Delhi to discuss the “potato crisis” in the state.
According to a CMO release, Majhi requested Mamata to streamline the potato supply chain. He urged her to resolve the issue at the earlier since people in Odisha are facing problems with restriction on the supply from Bengal leading to an artificial price rise here.

Both the CMs are in Delhi for the NITI Aayog meeting.
