Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi took stock of overall works of the state government at a high-level meeting in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
Speaking to media after the meeting, chief secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena said it was a formal meeting of the high-level officers with the chief minister. Deputy chief ministers KV Singhdeo and Pravati Parida along with the chief minister discussed various issues with the officers.
Jena said the officers made a presentation on different aspects of the state including its geographical status, economic affairs, ongoing welfare schemes, the projects in the pipeline, investment proposals, steps taken on development of different economic sectors and others.
Development Commissioner Anu Garg, Finance secretary Vishal Dev, Agriculture secretary Arabind Padhee, secretary of Fisheries and Animal Resources department Suresh Kumar besides other officers made the presentation on their respective departments at the meeting, Jena said.
