Keonjhar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi was on Sunday accorded a grand welcome in his native village Raikela in Keonjhar district of Odisha.
The CM, along with his wife Priyanka Marandi, is on a three-day visit to his home district and is scheduled to return back to Bhubaneswar on Monday.
Sources said, CM Majhi performed a special puja at his home today morning on the occasion of Dussehra.
People in large numbers from nearby villages turned up at Raikela to catch a glimpse and greet Majhi today morning.
Keonjhar police made tight security arrangements in the area ahead of the CM’s visit.
