Odisha CM Mohan Majhi To Attend Website Launch For Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas In Delhi Today

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will fly to New Delhi on Tuesday for the launch ceremony of the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas official website.

According to the itinerary, the CM will reach Hotel Ashok in the national capital at 12.45 pm. He will then head to C B Muthamma Hall, Jawaharlal Nehru Bhavan, for the launch ceremony. The website will be launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The 18th Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas is scheduled to take place from January 8-10, 2025, in Odisha.

Majhi is scheduled return to Bhubaneswar on Wednesday morning.

On Monday, the CM attended two election rallies in poll-bound Jharkhand, and spoke about mining scams in Odisha, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. “These three states were victims of mining scams under non-BJP govts. While Odisha and Chhattisgarh have voted for BJP, it’s now the turn of Jharkhand,” he said at Saraikela with sizeable population of Odia-speaking people.

He also accused the Congress of attempts to take away the land of tribals and give the same to Muslims and illegal Rohingya immigrants.
