Cuttack: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s wife Priyanka Marandi has been admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital (MCH) in Cuttack for a minor surgery.
A 10-member medical team, led by Dr. LV Gouri from the surgery department, will perform the procedure.
Speaking to the media, SCBMCH superintendent Dr Gautam Satpathy said that all tests, including those for diabetes, blood pressure, heart conditions, respiratory issues, and anaesthesia compatibility, have been completed. “Preparations for her surgery will start after all the test reports are received,” he said.
On July 23, the CM’s wife had visited SCB for a checkup. Following consultations with senior doctors, she was advised to undergo an MRI test required for diagnosis of her health problem at Acharya Harihar Post Graduate Institute of Cancer the same day.
