Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday appointed Debashis Singh as Collector and District Magistrate of Sonpur district.
Singh, a 2015-batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre, is currently working as Additional Secretary in GA & PG Department. He will succeed Nruparaj Sahu, known as a “people’s collector”. He retired from service on August 31.
