Bhubaneswar: A day after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) swept Assembly elections in three states, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the electoral victory of the saffron party.
Naveen made a phone call to the Prime Minister in the morning and congratulated him for BJP’s victory in Assembly polls held in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, official sources said.
While BJP retained power in Madhya Pradesh, the saffron party registered impressive victory in Congress-ruled Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.
