Odisha CM Reviews Governance, Law & Order Ahead Of Two-Year Milestone



Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi attended official work and held key meetings at Kharavela Bhawan in Bhubaneswar even on a government holiday on the fourth Saturday.

With his government set to complete two years in office next month, the Chief Minister held detailed discussions with senior officials on the progress of important governance priorities.

Official sources said the meeting focus

ed on the fulfillment of election promises, effective implementation of welfare schemes, advancement of industrialisation, generation of employment opportunities, and future action plans for the state’s development.

Undertaking a thorough review, the Chief Minister made a detailed assessment of the implementation of directions previously given to the police administration for strengthening law and order. He held direct discussions with Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department, Hemant Sharma, and Director General of Police Y B Khurania.

Stressing that a peaceful law and order environment is essential for overall development, Chief Minister Majhi instructed the police to work with efficiency, caution, and professionalism.

Advisor to the Chief Minister Prakash Mishra was also present during the meetings.
