Bhubaneswar: Odisha government Saturday revoked the appointment of chairpersons made by the previous BJD government in various corporations.
In a press release, the Chief Minister’s Office informed about the government’s decision to revoke the appointments.
“Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has revoked the appointment of chairpersons in the government corporations made by the previous government for lack of qualitative progress in the management of the corporations,” said the statement from the CMO.
It may be noted that the government took a decision on Friday to withdraw the advisors appointed in different departments.
A statement from the CMO as no improvement was marked in implementation of government schemes or efficiency in its operation with the appointment of the advisors, the chief minister issued the order to relieve them of their duties and responsibilities.
