Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has sanctioned 15 posts of different categories for the newly set up fire service centre at Bantala in Angul district.
It may be recalled that the Chief Minister had approved the proposal for establishment of a new fire service centre at Bantala in July, this year.
In order to ensure smooth functioning of the centre, Naveen on Thursday approved 15 posts for the facility.
The posts approved by the CM are one station officer, two leading firemen, one driver-havildar, a fireman driver and ten firemen. The Chief Minister has given direction for filling these posts soon and make the fire service centre fully functional, an official release said.
