Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday sanctioned 45 new posts in the Fire Services department at three medical colleges in the state.
The colleges which will benefit from this decision are Sriram Chandra Bhanj Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH) in Cuttack, MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur, and Burla VSS Medical College and Hospital in Sambalpur.
The sanctioned new posts in the Fire Services department in the above medical college and hospitals include three Station Officers, four Leading Fireman, three Havildars, three Fireman Driver, and 30 Fireman, an official release said.
The creation of these new posts will help in ensuring fire safety at the above-mentioned three medical college and hospitals.
