Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday sanctioned medical advance of Rs 10 lakh in favour of ORS officer Manas Ray, who is on ECMO support in SUM Ultimate Medical Hospital due to COVID-19 complications.
Ray is posted as an additional tehsildar in Lakhanpur of Jharsuguda district.
He had tested positive for COVID-19 last month. His lungs have been affected and his condition is stated to be critical.
