Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has sanctioned Rs 20 lakh for the development of Keradagarh village in Kendrapada district.
The money would be used for the development of the primary school and proper conservation of the village panchayat pond in Keradagarh, an official release said on Wednesday.
It may be noted here that 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman V K Pandian learnt about the problems faced by the residents of Keradagarh during his visit to Rajnagar area of Kendrapada district on December 18. The district administration had also drawn his attention to the issue.
After being informed about it, Naveen sanctioned Rs 10 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s special relief fund for the development of these two projects. He also directed the officials to complete both the projects at the earliest.
The residents of Keradagarh have thanked the CM for the speedy steps taken to resolve the problems of their area.
