Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will celebrate Diwali with the children at SOS village here on Sunday evening.
Naveen has also advised his officials to visit child care institutions and celebrate Diwali with children.
All Collectors will also visit such institutions in their district. The DGP and all senior police officers, including SPs, have been advised to spend time in battalions and celebrate Diwali with the jawans and their family members.
“Transformation is when symbols of government show their human face,” the CM added.
He had earlier wished the people of the state on the auspicious occasion and advised them to celebrate the festival with joy and share the happiness with helpless people.
Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy will visit Chetna Institution of Special Education at 4 pm and will interact with the inmates there.
