Jajpur/Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Jajpur district and inaugurate a slew of projects in three blocks in the district on Tuesday.
According to official sources, the Chief Minister will arrive in Dasarathpur block at 11.30 AM where he will inaugurate two projects worth Rs 4 crore which include a new road between Bautara High School and Jadua High School, a bridge and a new road at Guthunipada.
Besides, he will lay the foundation stone of seven projects, including two river bridges over Brahmani at Dattapur and Nuapatna, a new bridge and road between Dewanipatna and Duhudisahi and two new roads between Brundabanpur and Saundi and Madarakhanda and Babalapur. The cost of these proposed projects is estimated at Rs 96.37 crore.
He will then leave for Dharmasala block and inaugurate 245 projects worth Rs 457 crore, which include a new bridge over Badagenguti river on Nuahaat-Khadianga road, the renovated Expressway-Mahulakhali road, five renovated road projects viz., Barabati-Sabar Sahi, Bajabati-Khunta, Baunsadola Chhak-Uparagada, NH-200 at Sorei and Gokarneswar-Rampur, a bridge at Kalana, Aurangabad piped water supply project, 100 projects under Ama Gaon Ama Bikash yojana, 77 new Anganwadi centres and 30 new community development centres.
The Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone of nine projects worth Rs 23.70 crore, including two bridges over Sagadia river on Sankha-Abhayapur-NH-16, one bridge at Imam Nagar and another bridge over a high-level canal on Dharmasala-Kabatbandh road, three new road projects, renovation work of Panturi canal embankment at Gadamadhupur and a bridge over Sagadia Nullah on Narasinghpur-Pipalidiha road.
From Dharmasala block, the Chief Minister will arrive in Binjharpur block at 12.55 PM and inaugurate five projects worth Rs 38 crore, which include three bridges at Kantitara, Argalkat and Bagamara, a new 33/11 KV sub-station at Bitana Pritipur and a multi-purpose flood shelter at Bangara.
Besides, he will also lay the foundation stone of two projects worth Rs 3 crore which include a rural water supply project at Oleichandanpur and a new Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Singhapur.
Naveen will return to Bhubaneswar at 1.50 PM. He is scheduled to release a book ‘Aaina-2018’ at the Chief Minister’s conference room at 5.45 PM followed by launch of ‘KALIA Scholarship’ portal at the State Secretariat here.
