Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday expressed concern about the hospitalisation of Leader of Opposition and BJP leader Pradipta Kumar Naik for COVID-19 and wished him a speedy recovery.
“Concerned to know about the critical condition of Leader of Opposition Pradipta Naik after testing positive for COVID-19. Wishing him a speedy recovery and praying for his good health,” the CM tweeted.
Naik, who tested positive for COVID-19, was admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar on April 20. He was subsequently shifted to the ICU on April 26.
His condition deteriorated on Wednesday and he is stated to be critical.
