Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has wished speedy recovery to India’s wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant, who sustained severe injuries when his car collided with a road divider and caught fire on the Delhi-Dehradun highway On Friday.
“Deeply concerned to know about the hospitalisation of cricketer Rishabh Pant after he met with a road accident in Uttarakhand. Wishing him a speedy recovery and praying for his good health”, the CM tweeted.
Pant has suffered two cuts on his forehead, apart from a ligament tear in his right knee, abrasion injuries on his back, and hurting right wrist, ankle, and toe, informed Jay Shah, the honorary secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), in an official statement.
