Keonjhar: Odisha Chief Minister’s 3-day visit to Keonjhar district kicked-off on Friday. Today morning, the CM’s chopper landed in Keonjhar where he was accorded a grand welcome.
On the occasion, Majhi met political leaders, officials of district administration and workers of various institutions and associations.
According to sources, the CM attended the third anniversary of an NGO at Keonjhar auditorium. The CM is scheduled to participate in various programmes in Keonjhar.
He will be chief guest at a football tournament organised by Maa Tarini Club at his village Raikala, said sources.
CM Majhi will hold discussions with MPs, MLAs and elected representatives of the district during the visit.
On Saturday, the CM will attend silver jubilee celebrations organised by the Retired Government Employees Association.
In the evening, he will attend a party programme in the district headquarter town.
Majhi is scheduled to attend the state government’s 100-day celebration programme at the DD University campus on Sunday, the sources added.
