Odisha Confirms 65 More COVID Deaths, 20 From Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The COVID tally touched 4795 on Tuesday as 65 more patients were confirmed to have succumbed to the deadly disease in Odisha.

Among the deceased, Khurda district has reported the highest of 20 deaths followed by 10  from Bargarh, 7 from Sundargarh, 6 from Puri, 4 from Nabarangpur, 3 from Gajapati, 2 each from Balasore, Ganjam, Jharsuguda, Kandhamal and Mayurbhanj and one from Angul, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur and Kalahandi districts.

According to the Health & Family Welfare Department, the list does not reflect deaths occurring on a particular day. It lists details of past deaths for which the audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to the virus.

The deceased have been identified as:

1.A 62 years old Male of Angul District who was also suffering from Hypertension, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
2.A 63 years old Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
3.A 65 years old Female of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
4.A 40 years old Male of Bargarh District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Kidney Disease.
5.A 80 years old Male of Bargarh District.
6.A 52 years old Male of Bargarh District.
7.A 50 years old Female of Bargarh District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
8.A 62 years old Male of Bargarh District.
9.A 49 years old Male of Bargarh District.
10.A 55 years old Male of Bargarh District.
11.A 46 years old Male of Bargarh District who was also suffering from Hypertension.
12.A 35 years old Male of Bargarh District.
13.A 64 years old Male of Bargarh District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
