Odisha Cong launches Indira Jyoti Jatra

Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of the 33rd death anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) launched ‘Indira Jyoti Jatra’ in the state capital on Tuesday.

Flagging off the march, OPCC President Prasad Harichandan said, “Indira Jyoti Jatra would cover the entire state till November 19, the 100th birth anniversary of Late Indira Gandhi.”

Earlier in the day, senior party leaders paid floral tributes at the statue of Indira Gandhi at IG Park here.

Later, in a public meeting, the party members spoke about the sacrifices of the late leader.
