Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Congress on Sunday supported the Bharat Bandh call given by the farmer organisations on December 8 in protest against the new agriculture reform bill by the Centre.
In a video message, the president of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC), Niranjan Patnaik has urged the people of the state to lend their support to the bandh call and make it a success.
The farmers are the backbone of the country and the Congress party is urging people to support the bandh to fight for their legitimate demands, Patnaik added.
