Bhubaneswar: Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Niranjan Patnaik fell ill and was admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar, media coordinator of the party Deepak Mohapatra informed on Tuesday.
Niranjan is undergoing treatment at Apollo Hopsitals here, he added.
On Sunday, he had accompanied Congress mayor candidate Madhusmita Acharya to the ADM office to file her nomination papers.
