Khurda: Congress’ Khurda district vice-president Pradeep Kumar Sahoo resigned from the party ahead of panchayat polls in Odisha.
He tendered his resignation to Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) chief Niranjan Patnaik alleging the party’s negligence towards leaders at the organisational level.
“The party has been neglecting us at the organisational level. Therefore, I am quitting my post and party,” Sahoo said.
Earlier, Sahoo had fought the assembly polls twice from Begunia on a Congress ticket.
