Bhubaneswar: The consumption of petrol and diesel in Odisha is higher than the national average, Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain informed the Assembly on Wednesday.
The minister said that the state’s annual growth rate in petrol consumption is 10.25 per cent and that of diesel is 3.81 per cent.
He also informed that Odisha has a total of 1,841 registered filling stations.
