Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 208 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the I&PR Department informed on Monday.
Among the new cases reported from 19 districts, 122 are from quarantine and 86 are local contacts.
Nuapada district reported the highest of 36 cases followed by, Khurda (33), Bargarh and Kalahandi at 22 each.

Notably, the state had crossed the 200-mark after a gap of almost two months last Thursday after 214 people tested positive for the virus. Since then, the state has been reported over 200 cases every day. It had reported 290 fresh cases on Sunday, 210 on Saturday and 234 on Friday.
Meanwhile, another 120 COVID patients recovered and were discharged on Sunday.
With this, Odisha now has 1,737 active cases.
