Jagatsinghpur: Biswajit Gadanayak, a sub-inspector (SI) of Jagatsinghpur police station, was caught red-handed by Vigilance sleuths while allegedly accepting Rs 50,000 bribe.
According to Vigilance sources, he had demanded illegal gratification from one Pritam Mohanty, a resident of Kacheramala village under Cuttack Sadar police limits, to settle a case relating to recovery of dues of the complainant from his opposite party.
