Paradip: The IIC of Balikuda police station in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district has been transferred to District Police Headquarters for being drunk while on duty.
According to reports, IIC Ajay Muduli had allegedly hurled abuses at people in an inebriated condition at Marichipur. Some locals had recorded the incident and posted it on social media, bringing shame to the police administration.
Soon after, Jagatsinghpur SP sent a request the DGP to take disciplinary action against the officer. Following Muduli’s transfer Naugaon police station IIC, Bharat Chandra Behera has been given charge of Balikuda police station.
