Odisha Cops In Soup Over Clicking Selfie With Fraud Accused

Bhubaneswar: Two months after IIC of Chandrabhaga Marine police station Bulu Munda was transferred for taking a selfie with a murder accused, another picture of two cops with a fraud accused is reportedly doing the rounds on social media.

The accused has been identified as Papu Kumar Singh. He had misappropriated Rs 8 lakh of a company, which handled ground operations at the Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar, by forging documents and duping people with job promise, sources said.

He had fled to Uttar Pradesh from where he was nabbed by two sub inspectors of Airfield Police Station in Bhubaneswar. After arresting him, they reportedly clicked a selfie which later went viral, the sources added.
