Bhubaneswar: The corona positive cases in Odisha crossed the 600-mark and touched 611 with 73 new cases in the last 24 hours.
Among them, 42 cases have been detected in Ganjam, 17 in Jajpur, nine in Bhadrak and three in Khurda. All the patients are Surat returnees and in quarantine, the I & PR department said in a tweet on Thursday.
Two persons in containment area of Sundargarh have also tested positive for the virus.
With three deaths and 143 having been fully cured, the state now has 465 active cases.
