Bhubaneswar: The coronavirus tally in Odisha went up to 1819 on Saturday with 96 more persons testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to Health Department sources, 96 of these cases were detected in quarantine centres.
Kendrapara and Gajapati reported the highest 10 new cases each followed by Khurda (9), Ganjam (6), Jajpur (6), Balasore (4), Bhadrak (7), Cuttack (6), Puri (1), Jagatsinghpur (6), Nayagarh (1), Balangir (7), Sundargarh (7), Deogarh (4), Keonjhar (1), Kalahandi (5), Dhenkanal (2) and Nuapada (4).
Odisha now has 833 active cases while 977 patients have recovered and seven died.
